Our Mission

JSONViz was created with one goal: make JSON data immediately understandable. Every developer has stared at a wall of raw JSON from an API response, trying to parse it mentally. We built the tool we always wanted — one that goes far beyond simple syntax highlighting.

What We Built

JSONViz is a free, browser-based JSON viewer and formatter that offers six distinct ways to visualize your data:

• Tree View — Collapsible, color-coded nodes with live search and JSONPath display
• Force Graph — Interactive D3 network showing object relationships
• Sunburst Chart — Radial hierarchy showing data depth and structure
• Table View — Flat, scannable rows with type badges and path columns
• Schema View — Auto-inferred JSON Schema with format detection
• Diff View — Side-by-side comparison of two JSON objects

Privacy First

JSONViz processes all JSON entirely in your browser. Your data is never sent to our servers, never stored, and never shared. We built it this way intentionally — developers often work with sensitive API responses, and we wanted a tool they could trust with confidential data.

Free, Always

JSONViz is completely free with no paywalls, no account required, and no feature gating. We believe fundamental developer tools should be accessible to everyone.

Built With

JSONViz is built with Astro.js, React, D3.js, and Tailwind CSS. It is deployed as a static site for maximum performance and reliability.
